Senior Program Analyst – NAVSUP Logistics & Supply Chain Support

Position: Senior Program Analyst – NAVSUP Logistics & Supply Chain Support
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support NAVSUP logistics and supply chain operations. This position provides analytical and operational support to improve program performance, strengthen supply chain execution, resolve logistics and financial discrepancies, and support mission readiness across Department of Defense logistics programs.
The successful candidate will work closely with government and contractor personnel to analyze program performance, evaluate business processes, improve operational efficiency, and support supply chain management activities in a dynamic federal logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
Support may include, but is not limited to:Program Analysis & Operational Support
- Apply logistics management principles, analytical methods, and business processes to support government program objectives.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Evaluate quantitative and qualitative program data to identify trends, risks, and performance issues.
- Develop recommendations that improve operational effectiveness and mission execution.
- Assist with planning, tracking, and execution of logistics initiatives supporting NAVSUP operations.
Supply Chain & Logistics Support
- Research, analyze, and resolve supply, inventory, procurement, and financial discrepancies.
- Coordinate with government personnel, vendors, and commercial suppliers to obtain required materials and services.
- Support supply chain activities including procurement coordination, material tracking, inventory management, and logistics reporting.
- Identify alternate sourcing strategies when required to maintain mission support.
Financial & Administrative Support
- Assist with reconciliation of logistics and financial records.
- Support internal controls by identifying discrepancies and ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Monitor data accuracy across logistics systems and supporting documentation.
- Prepare reports, briefings, spreadsheets, and other analytical products for government leadership.
Collaboration
- Coordinate across multiple functional organizations to support mission requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to government and contractor stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting DoD logistics, supply chain management, program analysis, business analysis, or related functions.
- Experience analyzing operational, logistics, financial, or program performance data.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced government environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance, if required by the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting NAVSUP, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, or other Department of Defense logistics organizations.
- Experience supporting U.S. Navy logistics or sustainment programs.
- Knowledge of DoD supply chain management principles.
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Security Cooperation programs.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, financial reconciliation, and commercial sourcing.
- Experience with ERP, logistics, or government reporting systems.
