Senior SharePoint Developer
** This is a hybrid position based in Lexington Park, Maryland. Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the Lexington Park area and able to work onsite as required. Candidates located in the DC metropolitan area may also be considered with the ability to work onsite in Lexington Park approximately once per month.**
Position: Senior SharePoint Developer
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to support the design, modernization, and sustainment of Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions in support of Navy logistics, sustainment, and enterprise information management requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions, including sites, lists, libraries, permissions, content types, templates, and modernized SharePoint structures.
- Serve as a senior technical resource for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions supporting logistics, sustainment, case management, financial tracking, and related business processes.
- Plan and execute SharePoint migration and modernization activities, including content assessment, mapping, migration, validation, testing, cutover, and documentation.
- Develop and support Power Automate workflows and integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365, Azure, and other approved services.
- Design and maintain SharePoint and SQL-based data structures while supporting data integrity and applicable DoD data management requirements.
- Design and implement role-based access controls and SharePoint governance standards in accordance with Department of the Navy (DON), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Zero Trust, records management, and applicable governance requirements.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics using Power BI or other approved tools to support logistics, program, and FMS performance visibility.
- Support compliance with applicable DoD cybersecurity requirements, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), FedRAMP, and Microsoft 365 governance requirements.
- Collaborate with government and program stakeholders to identify user needs, define technical requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support integrated technical solutions.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of SharePoint issues involving permissions, performance, workflows, data, and system integrations.
- Develop and maintain technical and user documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration baselines, SOPs, deployment guides, maintenance plans, training materials, and user guides.
- Lead technical discussions supporting architecture reviews, audits, governance boards, and sustainment working groups.
- Support continuity of operations (COOP), backup planning, and operational resilience for mission-critical SharePoint environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on SharePoint and Microsoft 365 best practices.

- U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing and supporting SharePoint solutions, including SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing secure SharePoint solutions, including access control, governance, and information management.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments, with knowledge of applicable DoD cybersecurity requirements, including RMF and DISA STIGs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Ability to support the position’s onsite requirements in Lexington Park, Maryland, based on the agreed-upon work arrangement.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II-compliant certification, such as CompTIA Security+.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and API integrations.
- Experience modernizing legacy DoD applications, data, or workflows into SharePoint Online.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate and Power BI.
- Knowledge of DoD logistics, aviation sustainment, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management, or defense financial processes.
- Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, Azure, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, records management, compliance capabilities, and DoD Microsoft 365 tenant governance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SQL, and relational database design.
