Supply Technician II (THAAD)
Position: Supply Services Technician II (THAAD)
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Supply Services Technician II to support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program in Killeen, Texas. This position supports the sustainment and operational readiness of THAAD Missile Defense System ground components as part of the THAAD CLS team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform supply and logistics activities for THAAD spare and replacement parts, including receiving, inspection, inventory, issue, turn-in, and accountability of supplies and unserviceable repairable items.
- Coordinate and support packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) activities for supplies, equipment, spare parts, and repairable items.
- Operate and maintain automated supply systems to account for supplies, spare parts, Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), inventory, and cataloging information in customer and U.S. Government Automated Information Systems (AIS).
- Support the development, implementation, and execution of life-cycle logistics plans, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate and support domestic and international air, ground, and maritime transportation activities, including the shipment of hazardous, sensitive, and classified cargo.
- Support scheduled and expeditionary deployments and rotations, including deployment as a Contractor Authorized to Accompany the Force (CAAF), as required, which may occur with a minimum of 120 hours' notice.
- Support system readiness, training, test events, and other mission activities, including extended hours, extended workweeks, shift work, and 24/7 operations when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, logistics, supply support, Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), field service support, or a related field.
- Ability to meet applicable Army and Combatant Command deployment requirements prior to start, including applicable medical, administrative, and readiness standards for deployment to designated Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain required hazardous materials ground transportation certification in accordance with 49 CFR within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain required International Air Transport Association (IATA) shipping certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain Ammo-45 and Ammo-65 certifications.
- Valid passport and ability to maintain required travel documentation.
- Ability and willingness to travel and deploy worldwide with limited advance notice based on mission requirements.
- Ability to work extended hours, non-standard shifts, and extended workweeks in support of mission requirements, including 24/7 operations when required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-focused environment.
- Experience supporting logistics, supply, sustainment, or field operations with U.S. Department of Defense personnel or military units.
- Previous experience supporting THAAD or a similar air and missile defense system.
- Previous deployment experience, particularly as a Contractor Authorized to Accompany the Force (CAAF).
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current 49 CFR hazardous materials and IATA shipping certifications.
- Experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment.
- Experience performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS).
- Experience using commercial or government Automated Information Systems (AIS) to record and manage supply, inventory, maintenance, or logistics activities.
- Knowledge of Army regulations, policies, and procedures related to supply, inventory accountability, logistics, and readiness.
