Position: Electronics Maintenance Technician III
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking to hire an Electronics Maintenance Technician III in support of U.S. Navy /Air Force CYP CCTV Lifecycle Support Service program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive and remedial maintenance services on IP-based CCTV systems.
- Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions and failures.
- Perform function tests and analysis on various systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on all CCTV system components.
- Provide on-site system training and technical support as needed.
- Update web-based maintenance management system and provide tracking of government equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Eight (8) years of experience with electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout.
- Two (2) years of experience with supervision and shop practices.
- Three (3) years of experience with electronics repair and installation.
- High School diploma or GED
- Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) years electronics apprentice program.
- Formal electronics training to include Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
- Ability to provide proof of US Citizenship and pass a background investigation.
- Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations (about 75% travel is to be expected).
- Preference to candidates with IP-based CCTV experience and/or a Security+ certification.
- A successful candidate will have a solid history of functioning in a team environment, being a self-starter, working independently with limited instruction, and meeting critical demands.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and to have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Standard MS Office software product knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point)
- Special consideration given to candidates with OEM factory training from Genetec, Axis and/or Cisco Switches.
