Position: Supply Technician II (THAAD)
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Supply Technician II to support THAAD Product Support operations by performing supply chain, inventory management, and material accountability functions in support of U.S. Army air defense systems and field operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage PHS&T (Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation) activities for parts and materiel
- Track, maintain, and report inventory accountability for parts and materiel at assigned locations in accordance with AR 710-2 and AR 750-1.
- Conduct stock checks and inventory reconciliations.
- Perform wall-to-wall inventory validations and roll-up reporting.
- Travel as required to support fielding, transportation, and operational activities relating to movement of equipment and materiel.
- Support extended hours, shift work, and extended work weeks in support of system readiness activities, training exercises, and test events.
- Support scheduled and expeditionary deployments and rotational assignments with as little as 120 hours’ notice.
- Will deploy as Contractors Authorized to Accompany the Force IAW DoDI 3020.41 and AR 715-9.
- Deployments may include transportation via military airlift, military charter, CONUS Replacement Centers, or commercial transportation methods.
- Operational environments may include temporary or austere living conditions with limited or inconsistent utilities and support services.
- Support shift work and 24/7 operational requirements based on mission needs.
- Meals and lodging may be provided by U.S. or Host Nation personnel in accordance with deployment conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of vocational training or equivalent experience in supply services, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant supply chain, inventory management, or military logistics experience.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Valid U.S. Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must demonstrate compliance with Army Regulations to all Areas of Responsibility prior to start.
- Willing to travel or deploy as called to any location with little to no prior notice.
- Experience with packaging, handling, shipping, and transportation (PHS&T) of Army materiel, including hazardous materials (HAZMAT).Working knowledge of Army supply and maintenance regulations, including AR 710-2 and AR 750-1.
- Supports extended hours and an extended work week as required in conjunction with system readiness, training events, and test events, as required
- Working knowledge of Army supply and maintenance regulations, including AR 710-2 and AR 750-1.
- Ability to comply with Army readiness and accountability standards prior to start.
- Willing and able to travel or deploy worldwide with limited advance notice.
- Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- IATA Shipping Certification.
- CFR 49 Ground Dangerous Goods Shipping Certification.
- Previous overseas deployment or expeditionary support experience.
- Experience supporting THAAD or similar air defense systems.
- Experience performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS).
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
- Experience supporting Army inventory accountability, supply operations, and readiness reporting requirements.
- SAP/GCSS-Army familiarity if applicable
- Ability to lift/move equipment if physically required
- Experience in tactical field environments
