Position: Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistics Analyst (Part Time)
Overview:
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for assisting the Israeli Air Force Security Assistance Foreign Representative (SAFR) with matters pertaining to Israeli Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case transactions.

Position: Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistics Analyst (Part Time)
Overview:
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for assisting the Israeli Air Force Security Assistance Foreign Representative (SAFR) with matters pertaining to Israeli Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case transactions.
Responsibilities
Support could be in any combination of (but not limited to) the following general areas:
- Possess a working knowledge of the FMS environment (preferred) and/or professional experience working in an international or military environment.
- Provide logistical and FMS Case financial support, advice and information.
- Responsible for managing office activities when leadership is away.
- Providing shipment support, tracking of deliveries and regular status updates.
- Create and manage monthly Cooperative Logistics Support Arrangement (CLSSA) and Blanket Order case reports as directed.
- Create monthly aged requisition and unshipped value requisition reports as directed.
- Create monthly total case summary report which includes combined case value/ activity/requisition submissions and cancelations.
- Create and monitor PUB’s report as directed.
- Submit Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) requests for processing and monitor progress up until SDR close out.
- Submit and cancel requisitions and follow-request for status.
- Manage office files and centrally store program related documents on common share drive.
- Present appropriate research efforts in professionally written communications and submit request for information when required for managed cases, Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement (CLSSA) cases; Direct Requisition Processing (DRP) cases, Repairable Item Replacement Option (RIRO) cases, and/or Repair or Return cases whereby information is required for periodic or special conferences, reports, inquiries, etc.
- Provide inventory support and tasks including but not limited to, price and availability investigations; high priority spares demands, requisition expedites; identification of alternate supply sources or solutions, identification of concerning trends in material availability and progression of nonstandard parts ordering through PROS.
- Respond to all inquiries as requested or assigned.
- Assist PROS personnel in resolving requisition issues to ensure efficient procurement of requisition items.
- Prepare background material(s) needed by for conferences, meetings, briefings etc. Read regulations and directives in preparation for pre-conferencing/ meeting/briefing, purposes and identity significant discussion items, and inform in writing of background and findings prior to activities or events.
- Interface with NAVSUP WSS personnel U.S. Navy personnel, the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) and the Air Force Security Assistance Center (AFSAC) country teams.
- Attend all open SAFR community meetings E.g. SAFR Monthly Meeting NAVSUP, WSS Bimonthly SAFR Meeting, Navy-Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Partnership Council (PAC) Meeting.
- Maintain office equipment functioning and operation to include reporting of repair orders as necessary to include ordering of all office supply requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years FMS environment experience.
- Strong skills working with MS Office and Microsoft Outlook: strong written and oral communication skills: ability to manage tasks maintaining priorities, professional demeanor and quality product outputs, organizational skills a must.
- The FMS Logistics Analyst must be able to obtain maintain a “Public Trust” determination on the U.S. Navy background investigation.
